Vocabulary Parade
October 20, 2015
Attention Parents
We will have a Vocabulary Parade October 30th. This will be an exciting opportunity for our students to increase their vocabularies and show us what they know.
How will it work?
Each homeroom teacher will assign students words/or the teacher may have older students select their own word. We want this to be an exciting and enriching experience. The students will then design a costume that will depict their assigned word. It will be a splendid parade of costumed words. Teachers will be sending home the vocabulary costume planner form for your students to use as they begin planning their word costume.
Below are some pictures of vocabulary parades to help generate ideas. We cannot wait to see how creative everyone becomes as we bring words to life at Kate Bond ES.
